We bought this colander to replace an old one that we had used for many years and we absolutely love it!! It is very sturdy, has really good handles(which definitely comes in handy when you're draining a large pot of something hot and heavy) and comes in such a beautiful color. And to think...by using this everyday we are also helping the planet. Best purchase we've made in a long time. Thank you!!

More non-toxic household tips using lemon: squeeze half a lemon over your plastic or wooden cutting board and let sit for 10 minutes to remove stains. Next use the lemon to scrub the board to kill bacteria.
