It all started with trying to find less toxic household cleaners when my first daughter was born. We wanted to start buying organic foods and use all natural soaps and detergents. The grocery store was starting to carry more and more organic produce but natural or organic soaps and cleaners were not to be found. After a lot of searching and surfing on the web I did find that there were products out there. But they were not easy to find. And that is what started it all. A purchase turned into a mission. What started out as small as wanting to protect ourselves from harmful chemicals and additives turned into a much larger mission to help save the environment by reducing waste and by buying smart. I brought my close friend on board to create this company. We wanted to make eco-friendly products easier to find and buy by doing the research and gathering the best products all on one website for one-stop shopping. It is important for us to buy with the earth in mind. And we believe that there are many of you that feel the same way too. The message is simple. We all have to do our part to save the planet. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that the average American produces about 4.4 pounds of garbage a day – that's 1600 pounds in a year. That does not include industrial or commercial waste. And that is only in this country. Just imagine how much it is in the entire world.
